How to identify fishing spots in Genshin Impact
There are currently 27 fishing spots in Teyvat, spread across Mondstadt, Dragon’s Spine, Liyue It is Inazuma. As you approach the fishing spot, you will be able to see different fish in the water.
Occasionally they will have a blue marker. This means that there are ornamental fish in the area, which can be placed in your Relacha Teapot’s new decorative pond.
Don’t worry if you accidentally startle them. Fish that were spooked by you or your line landing too close to them will respawn in a minute or so.
Fish spawn time
Some fish only come out at night, so you may notice different fish at a fishing spot during the day and at night.
However, after capturing everything it spawned, the location will remain empty until the daily server restart.
types of lures
There are four types of lures in the Genshin Impact. You will receive a recipe for Fruit Bait when you learn to fish, and you will be able to purchase recipes for Mock Fly Bait, Mock Worm Bait, and Nantuck Red Millet Bait for three Medaka fish per recipe.
Here’s what you need to create them:
- Fake Fly Bait – 1x Sakura Flower Petals, 1x Ponytail
Fake Worm Lure – 1x Condensed Slime, 1x Berry
Fruit Bait – 1x Sunset Fruit, 1x Wheat
Red Millet Bait – 1 x Dendrobium, 1 x Poultry Meat
Each recipe will yield ten lures, and you’ll need to craft them at an Alchemy Table.

You’ll find two around the Crown Mountainsone to the north and one to the south of Stormterror Lair.
There is also one in the Windbringer Mountains, just east of the Waypoint.
The closest places to Mondstadt are in Whispering Grove, across the lake from Nantuck, and south of the town of Mondstadtnext to Waypoint
The final two fishing spots are in the south. One is near the Statue of Seven in Rise of the Wind, and the other is west of Dawn Winery
