In total, there are 5 possible endings for the encounter with Shikanoin Heizou in Genshin Impact. That is, there will be a total of 5 photos that you can collect. You are not required to collect all of them. However, the amount of photos you collect will determine which ending you get. That said, let’s get to the finals!
Guide to meeting Shikanoin Heizou in Genshin Impact
Below you can check which dialogue options to choose to reach each ending:
Memories don’t evaporate
- Agree with Heizou and accept his request to stay on Watatsumi Island to investigate his intuition.
- Investigate the surrounding crates and speak with Heizou one more time before heading to Sangonomiya Shrine.
- Talk to Shibata, Gorou, and then Heizou to learn about your intuition again. Here, choose the option to stay on Watatsumi Island once more.
- Follow Todoroki and Tokuda and investigate the crates again. After that, wait until the next day for a showdown.
- Head to Sangonomiya Shrine for the last part of this quest to unlock this ending.
The Three Indecipherables
- Ask Heizou to go back with you to the Tenryou Commission (one of the options on the left).
- After the dialogue at the police station, read all the files in the corner lockers and then talk to Heizou again.
- Choose the option about approving “Heizou Talks Fraud” and go to the Grand Narukami Shrine with him.
- Meet all three VIPs for the play the next day and head to the venue to watch.
- During the play, help Itto by asking him to follow his heart to unlock this ending.
Free Onikabuto
- Simply follow the steps in The Undecipherable Three through step four.
- Warn Itto about Etsu and Iba throughout the game to unlock this ending.
there is a secret
- Ask Heizou to go back with you to the Tenryou Commission (one of the options on the left).
- After the dialogue at the police station, read all the files in the corner lockers and then talk to Heizou again.
- Speak with Sango and Ryuuji one more time before heading back to the police station and speaking with Owada and Uesugi.
- Look through all the files in the lockers about the Ryuuji case before heading back to Heizou and telling him the motive and means of the murder.
- Find a quiet place to talk with Heizou and find out the whole truth behind the case.
- Go back to Sango and Ryuuji. Choose the option about Sango being wrong to unlock this ending.
The Detective Principles
- To unlock the final ending, follow The Undecipherable Three to the fifth stage.
- While talking to Sango and Ryuuji, choose the option to tell Ryuuji the truth and wait for the next day.
- Go to Netsuke no Gen Crafts to find Ryuuji and unlock all endings in Shikanoin Heizou’s hangout.
