One of the first events of the Genshin Impact from version 1.3 is called Multicolored Fortune.
Rather than focusing on simple combat like daily requests or item trading like in Wondrous Goods, players are tasked with taking pictures.
Each day during the event, a specific color and item will be revealed for players to take pictures of.
Each time the player takes a photo, a color photograph will be given to him. There are five colors and when the player has one of each, he can exchange them for a treasure containing primogems and other goodies that will help in building the character.
How to take pictures with the camera in Genshin Impact
How to get the camera
The event requires the use of a special key item instead of the screenshot camera many players are already familiar with.
To obtain the photographic device – as it is called in Portuguese, players must travel to Liyue Port and speak with the character Ji Tong. He will give any player with Adventure Rank 20 the tool.
The camera will automatically be added to the gadgets section of your inventory. To equip the item, go to the gadgets menu, hover over it and click select.
After that, the camera of Genshin Impact should appear in the same place on your UI as in the image below:
What is the theory of the item
The camera should appear in the same place in your UI as in the image below (or at the bottom of the screen on mobile). Once the camera has been successfully equipped, you can start taking pictures.
First, you need to check the daily banner to see what color and subject is currently being featured for the event. This will change every day at the same time the dailies are reset.
For example; the first day was red a red item and silk flower bushes worked for the pictures. The second day, however, changed things by using blue creatures, which challenged the player to shoot cryogenic enemies.
This is the theoretical part of the photographic apparatus in Genshin Impact.
how to use it
Identify and find an item that fits the event description and pull up the camera using the buttons next to its icon.
However, the camera does not have a shutter button and will automatically take pictures for you. To tell if your camera is about to take a picture, look for a large circle around the subject of the photograph and distortion, such as static, occurring on the screen.
A colored photo will be added to your inventory and you can check the events section in your menu to see which colors are missing.
Keep in mind that the camera will not work if you are in combat. You will also need to use the zoom feature to adjust photos taken from a distance for the blue circle to appear.
The camera is programmed to not shoot anything but skilled and enemy items. Additionally, only ten photos can be taken by the player per day.
This is how you use the camera in Genshin Impact.
