In this guide we will show you the location of all the Primordial Obelisks in Genshin Impact.
There are 10 Obelisks in all and finding all of them players will be rewarded with the Achievement “Expert Archaeologist”.
Genshin Impact – Location of all Primordial Obelisks
Many hidden exploration objectives are available in Genshin Impact, where one of the available tasks is to collect Slates to restore a Primordial Obelisk. However, what many may not know is that there are a total of 10 Primordial Obelisks to be restored.
Fortunately, restoring these monuments isn’t too difficult, as the Obelisk will direct people to the required Slate location. In fact, the most difficult thing is to find the Obelisk itself.
In total, three Primordial Obelisks exist at surface level (symbol of the star), while the other seven are underground (symbol of Hilichurl’s mask). Most of them are pretty easy to find, but some can be quite annoying.
Location of Primordial Obelisk #1
For the first Primordial Obelisk location in Genshin Impact, head to Khaj-Nisut and drop down to the bottom of the area. Players will find a Primal Obelisk at the marked location.
Location of Primordial Obelisk #2
The second Primal Obelisk location can be found in Abdju Pit, and it’s the hardest to reach, so follow the direction carefully.
First, go to the marked Teleport (white circle) and follow the black route to the marked X red. Arriving at X, you should find a hole in the ground. Immerse yourself in it.
At the bottom of the hole, there will be more halls to explore. You will have to explore until you find an elevator. This elevator will take players to a room with a large statue. From here, go to the hole in the wall on the other side.
Walk up the stairs and turn left at the bottom. Another elevator is waiting once players turn left.
After using the final elevator, simply follow the corridors to the marked location to reach the second Obelisk.

The next Obelisk is located in Thutmose’s secret base in Genshin Impact. Once you get the password and enter the hideout, just follow the black route to find the third Obelisk.

This Primordial Obelisk is located on the surface and can be found easily.

The fifth Obelisk is also easy to find. Simply teleport to the Garden domain in Genshin Impact, then head to the marked ruins. The Primordial Obelisk can be found at the top of the ruins, so don’t hesitate to climb it.

Use the Teleport to Sekhem Hall to reach this Obelisk. Use the Four-Leaf Sigils in Sekhem Hall and leave using the nearest gate. From here, just follow the black route to the marked location.

The seventh Primordial Obelisk can be reached using either the left or the right Teleport in the image above. There is no special route or method to find this monument, it is quite easy to find.

Go to King Deshret’s Mausoleum and enter until the players find a hole in the ground. Paimon will talk about this passage if it’s the players’ first time revisiting the building. Go down the hole and into the middle area to reach the eighth Obelisk.

Use the Teleport north of King Scarlet’s Mausoleum, then enter the ruins through the lower passage.
In the Secret of Al-Ahmar quest in Genshin Impact, players are tasked with finding two Primal Embers to advance through the ruins. In the room where there are four Everlight Cells mechanisms, go to the door on the left (side A and B).
The ninth Primal Obelisk is waiting just outside the door.
Location of Primordial Obelisk #10
The last Obelisk can only be reached once players have collected all Glittering Components. Use the Teleport in the southwest corner of King Deshret’s Mausoleum, then walk northwest to find a door leading to the Obelisk.
