The players of Genshin Impact are still learning about all the wonders Inazuma has to offer. Learn how to catch seagrass in the Genshin Impact.
From new quests to new local specialties, there’s plenty for you to plan and find. A new local specialty is called Sea Herbs and is used in local recipes.
Fortunately, this is actually one of the easiest items to find in the region, making it easy to farm, something other specialties like Sakura Blossom Petals will never be.
The guide below is here to teach you where to find Seagrass and give you some tips on how to easily gather them. See below and find out!

Where to find seagrass
Seagrass, as the name implies, is found off the coast of Inazuma.
Find them in the water near shore, though there are some pieces located in water deep enough for your character to swim.
Seagrass is also one of the most plentiful plants in the game, as it grows all over Inazuma, and you’ll likely catch tons just by exploring the region’s fringes.
Route and tips for growing seagrass
Seagrass can be grown on any of the three islands and is always found dotting the shoreline in shallow water.
There are a few different places where you can start growing seagrass. A good rule of thumb is to start with a thick spot like those found on Narukami Island and then walk around the shore picking up more.
Seagrass is an abundant resource, so it’s also easy to pick up while you’re looking for new chests or making commissions. The new gardening feature also lets you grow Seagrass inside your Teapot Spirit, though the item’s plentiful nature means this might be a bad idea, as you can use the terrain to grow rare plants like Lotus Heads.
Can you buy seagrass in Genshin Impact?
Yes, you can buy Seagrass in Inazuma City from a restaurant. Buy My Herbs from Shimura’s for 240 mora each.
Shimura has ten Seagrass at a time, and her shop resets daily. If you want to buy all of Shimura’s stock, it will cost 2,400 moras.
While in the shop, pick up the miso soup recipe so you can use up some of your new stock.
